The reason I like this duo is because they aren't trying to turn the street into a top fuel strip. They are staying to the roots where you took something you spent a year working on the performance and didn't touch bodywork related items.

What the producers didn't understand, was the fans didn't want DRAMA! The fights, arguing, ect!!!!! We tuned in to see drag racing, and while we understood crap happens, it's not why we watch! Deadliest Catch was such a successful show, because their producers had hit puberty!!!!!

I've seen that somewhere. Bumper sticker maybe? Idk. But we definitely need a drag strip. Wonder where it'd go? I'd imagine it would bring in some decent revenue to the island.
I used to watch the show and they talked about having to find a good road to race on. Well, the struggle is real in OKC! I was just there, and I could not believe how bad the road surfaces are. Worst I have ever driven on in the eight states that I have lived in. Good luck to those that use those streets daily!
I live in Tulsa and have been to 38 states and Oklahoma has the worst roads ever! Some states have dirt and gravel roads in better condition than the interstate and toll roads here! By FAR!
These two guys were the best of Street Outlaws. Their own show would have made it big than the original if the producers actually did any promotional work. They are just the best guys on the show. Lovable, funny, entertaining and relatable. Period; hands down. Made the show!!

Strange how the dung beetle is not respected by the narrator, when there is not a new Corvette, Maserati, Porsche, or Ferrari that can beat it in a 1/4 mile.

I’m pretty sure there are some of those right now that can beat it in 1/4 mile, but if not, it’s not all about some piece of crap drag car beating a supercar in a one off drag race. Do you think Ferrari , or Porsche drivers would even acknowledge this piece of crap if they crossed paths on the road? And are you saying Azn’s engineering is greater than Ferrari or Porsche engineers? If Ferrari or Porsche wanted to make a 1/4 mile only drag car, they could easily build one that would blow this piece of sh*t away. Get real. Take it to a proper road coarse racetrack and let’s see who comes out on top. Crap dung beetle wouldn’t last two laps.

Straight line speed is a obvious factor, but then the thing has to be great in the corners also. Proper driving and most fun is speeding through corners. There has to be give and take in all areas that make it a proper car that can be built and raced? and will last. That is what is impressive. If they wanted to build a cheap piece of crap that only goes fast in a straight line they could easily do that too. But I forgot, Americans are renowned for building cars that only go in a straight line lol
These two were my favorite characters and the dung beetle always cracked me up. The energy was good and that racing wasnt just about winning but having fun and making friends.

They crack from the bottom under the cowl due to wires for the heated wiper park area. The wires were soldered on causing stress crack. They changed the design now wires are between the lamination

I have massive respect for two people building cars the way the old moonshiners built them to run , Fast and still be a daily driver . Any body doing something ess isn’t worthy of my time . I only started watching because of Farm Truck at first, he grew on me since they came as a team.
I still like farmtruck but AZN is an aquired taste that im still not used to lol, more times then not i wish it was just farmtruck
